Granados - Spanish dance for cello and piano

Granados - Spanish dance for cello and piano. You can download the PDF sheet music Granados - Spanish dance for cello and piano on this page. As a composer, Granados was inspired, as was Falla, by the great Felipe Pedrell, a leading figure in the development of the best Spanish music of a nationalistic tendency. It's clearly can be seen at this Spanish dance for cello and piano. However, Granados did not participate in scientistic labours as regards folk music, nor in the punctilious search for authenticity that would later characterize Falla. Granados is, during his first period, a composer of a Romantic style who considers folk music as both a good basis for a certain personalization or characterization of his music, like in this easy-listening cello piece, and an attractive element of exotic colour.
