Romberg - Cello sonata Op.38 N1

Romberg - Cello sonata Op.38 N1. You can download the sheet music Romberg - Cello sonata Op.38 N1 on this page. Bernhard Romberg (1767–1841) was a cellist, composer and founder of the cello school in Germany. He was acquainted with Beethoven and, since he lived and worked for long periods in Russia, Prince Nikolai Borisovich Golitsyn. It is probable that Beethoven’s “Galitzin” quartets appeared thanks to Romberg’s involvement. His Rondo for cello and piano from Cello sonata in E minor is a charming piece, which is better known at music schools rather than on concert stage. So, this sonata is well-known for its Rondo part.
