Scriabin’s only romance for voice was recovered posthumously by his biographer Leonid Sabanyev. It was written in 1893 but published in 1920. The committee of the Scriabine Society set up an exclusive contract with the singer Nina Kochetz, who performed the song many times worldwide. The A minor Romance for French horn was written sometime between 1894-97, dedicated to the famous horn player Louis Savart.
