The second violin sonata is one of the most popular chamber works of Eshpai. It was first performed in Bremen by Edward Grach together with the author , where concerts of Soviet music were held. In Cologne, it was recorded on the radio. Then in the same performance it was premiered in the Small Hall of the Moscow Conservatory and firmly entered the concert repertoire of many Soviet violinists. Eshpai tends to expressive, graphically pointed musical language. Much attention is paid to the composer polyphonic beginning. Sonata has very dramatic music content. |
