For ease of use of this book, the works included in it are grouped in three sections. The first section includes pieces of melodious character in a quiet tempo. The second section covers mainly, the pieces of various dance genres; there are the pieces, that are more mobile and various in the use of stroke techniques. The third section contains pieces of large form (concerto, variations). At the end of this book, methodological instructions are given, that contain specific tasks that must be solved in the process of working on the plays.
When choosing a play, one should keep in mind the need for the harmonious development of the student's musical skills. It is recommended to study the pieces that are different in character and performing tasks. Work on the pieces should, at the same time, contribute to the pupil’s increasing knowledge about the style of music by composers of different eras, creative directions and national schools. |
